While they function in the same way traditional metal braces do, they offer a cosmetic alternative by using clear brackets. Ceramic braces are the same size and shape as traditional metal braces, but far less noticeable, especially when equipped with clear, white, or tooth-colored wires and elastic ties.
Ceramic braces are perfect for the adult patient who doesn’t want their braces to stand out but fears keeping up with clear aligners like Invisalign. We also have some teens and adults who prefer “Neon Braces”, a play on ceramic braces where colored elastics are used.
